This private and secure unit in the Gaviotas building is located on 20 Avenida and Calle 20.  There are 3 balconies and a private rooftop. The large balcony faces the courtyard, full of beautiful foliage and the swimming pool. Private and secure, this unit is only a 3 block walk to the famous 5th Ave.

This 2 bedroom 2.5 bath condo, has wifi, 2 flat screen TVs with cable, a safe, hair dryer, iron. Walk up the stairs and you will find the private rooftop.  On the rooftop there are lounge chairs, a grill, lighting, and is partially covered offering a bit of shade if desired.

In the kitchen there are pans, dishes and everything you need to make a good meal. New appliances are featured in the newly remodeled kitchen. The dining room is equipped with a table to accommodate 4 people, with an additional table for 4 outside on the balcony, connected to the dining room.

The Neighborhood:

Gaviotas condo building is close to everything! One block to a fresh market, big grocery store, restaurants and stores.  Three blocks to Quinta Avenida (5th Ave), and 5 short blocks to the beach!

IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding Jacuzzi:

The private rooftop Jacuzzi’s is not a hot tub, it is fills with temperate water. Please leave the tub filled during your stay after the first filling. Water prices are rising daily in Playa del Carmen.

House Rules:

Please treat the unit as if it were your own. Be thoughtful and respectful of other guests and condo owners in the Gaviotas complex.

ELECTRICITY:

NIGHTLY/WEEKLY RENTERS:
**Electricity costs are extremely high in Mexico. Included in the rate is a credit of 20 kWh (kilowatt Hours) per day towards the cost of electricity. OUR GOAL IS NOT TO CHARGE YOU FOR ELECTRICITY, but for you to be cautious and aware. For heavy use of electricity, any additional consumption beyond the allotment will be charged at a rate of 6 pesos (about 30 cents USD) per kWh, from your security deposit. We will provide tips that will greatly reduce usage, if followed. A photo will be taken on checkin and checkout dates. **

MONTHLY RENTERS are responsible to pay 100% of their electricity (to take advantage of our “discounted monthly” pricing (the price that shows on Air bnb when you choose more than 28 nights). 6 pesos per kw. We require a larger deposit for monthly renters, this money will be used to pay the electricity at the end of the month/stay. Any balance is returned to the guest.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: $200 security deposit is due in cash upon arrival to the condo, and returned upon checkout, less any additional electricity fees or damages.
